With over eleven years in practice, Dr. Vinod Patel is honored to serve the medical needs of Brooklyn with a focus on Cardiovascular disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Cardiology Imaging.
Dr. Patel utilizes cutting-edge technology and equipment, and he offers echocardiography in-house. A true scientist and researcher at heart, Dr. Patel holds patents for medical devices he has developed – chief among them a mechanical pump that treats patients with refractory congestive heart failure. Dr. Patel attended medical school at Saurastra University / MP Shah Medical College, before heading to Resurrection Hospitals / affiliated with Loyola University Chicago medical school for his residency in Internal Medicine.
He has completed a number of prestigious fellowships, including Interventional Cardiology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Cardiology fellowship at University of South Florida and Cardiology Imaging fellowship at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Patel has co-authored over 25 pieces of published research, and he is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine, Echocardiogram and Interventional Cardiology.
